My Story

My name is Rhiannon Carter and I am a ICF and MentorCoach Certified ADHD & Life Coach. I am on a mission to use my ADHD Coaching to help people impacted by ADHD truly thrive.

I am also an Alberta Certified Teacher, a mother of two children with ADHD,  a sibling to a fellow ADHDer and a passionate advocate of those with ADHD and Learning Disabilities. I was diagnosed with ADHD as a adult so I understand what it feels like to be frustrated and overwhelmed. I have also experienced the positive results of working with an ADHD Coach myself.

My passion, specialized knowledge about ADHD and personal experience motivated me to create support services focusing on ADHD Coaching.

Using a unique combination of innovative strategies, teaching experiences and a desire to help others, I provide highly effective support to adults and families struggling with the challenges of living with ADHD.

As a lifelong learner, I continue to seek out professional development opportunities so I can provide  my clients with the most up to date, evidence based ADHD approaches.  I am a member of CHADD, CADDAC, ADDA, ACO and a the International Coaching Federation (ICF). I am also a Certified CHADD Parent to Parent: Family Training on ADHD Instructor.

I recently co-created a national Adult ADHD Group Coaching program for CADDAC, The Centre of ADHD Awareness, Canada and also facilitate CADDAC’s adult group coaching programs.

My unique approach is rooted in positive psychology, but through an ADHD lens.  I use strength based tools and strategies that are effective at helping you rebuild self-esteem. We work together to identify and develop your goals, create step-by-step plans, build your skills and harness strengths so you can achieve success.

Most  importantly,  I  support and encourage you every step of the way!

As your Coach, I will challenge you to leverage your strengths and think outside of the box.

My goal is to provide a service that supports,  connects and empowers those impacted by ADHD.

When I’m not focused on ADHD related professional activities, I enjoy spending time in the outdoors with my husband, my two high energy kids and my labradoodle in Calgary, Alberta.

I would describe myself as jack of many trades and master of some

My favourite activities include camping, hiking, running and gardening.  Nature is always calling me. In true ADHD fashion, I love to read and but usually have 5-6 books on the go at once. Discovering audio books has been revolutionary.  When I have the capacity for slowing down I get my creativity juices flowing with a knitting project or two. Over the years I have dabbled in many hobbies such as photography, pottery, painting, canning, croqueting, sewing and drawing.

Lets connect if you want to learn more about me or my coaching approach.

Professional Coaching Credentials

Coaching credentials are important. I have met all requirements for two Professional Coaching Certifications with MentorCoach, an ICF ACTP training program.

  • Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF)
  • Associate ADHD Certified Coach with MentorCoach (AAMC)
  • Certified ADHD Coach Practitioner (CACP) with the Professional Association of ADHD Coaches (pending)

Currently, the only active global credentialing organization for ADHD Coaches is the Professional Association of ADHD Coaches (PAAC). PAAC is the international organization responsible for establishing and maintaining global standards of excellence for credentialing ADHD coaches and accrediting qualified ADHD coach training schools and programs.
